Todd Sines will be showing the latest work from +SCALE.

+ SCALE is a multidisciplinary studio which provides creative solutions in design + production for film, video, web + print.

+ SCALE's 12 year production history includes work for film titles, broadcast promos + commercials, music videos, audio production, web sites, collateral materials and retail + environment design. Our work is geared primarily towards the art, entertainment and fashion industries, and has included direction, design, motion, photography and sound, for both on-screen and print mediums.

+ SCALE's clients include Miramax Films, The Weinstein Company, Palm Pictures, A&E, TLC, HBO, VH1, Spike TV, Maxim, MBNA, Deutsch, Burton, Apple, Adobe, Limited, Limited Too, Nationwide and Visionaire Magazine.

 

FEATURED ARTIST:

Beth Warshafsky and Lauren Wang will show and discuss the 3 minute (approx) promo for the Siggraph 2005 Art Show

 

The overarching goal of the 2005 Art Gallery was to show artwork
that maps data or traces threads in time and space. The promo
served as a virtual art gallery, entertaining and educating
the Siggraph audience to themes and trends in digital art today.

Beth Warshasky is an artist and designer and teacher who works as a creative consultant through her company B-SKY.

She has taught classes in motion graphics, video editing and 4d (Foundation) at Pratt Institute and Parsons and New York University SCPS.
Her artwork includes short time-based pieces, digital prints and photography.

She is currently working with motion capture data to new sound/image
correspondences with composer Gerry Hemingway.

Lauren Wang is a freelance designer/animator/producer
working in the industry for 5 years. She's worked on
films, television shows, station branding, and
corporate culture videos. She's worked with various
companies on films such as, "The Kid Stays in the
Picture" and network rebranding for the Bravo Channel
and USA. She graduated from Cooper Union with an
emphasis in Sculpture and Video. She is interested in
smart design that changes perception. Currently, she
is working as producer for the New York based motion
graphics studio, Verb.
