PostStream is a media exchange software program that allows production personnel and their associates to publish video, audio, still picture, script documents and other related files to the Internet in an organized and efficient manner. These files can be downloaded, streamed, annotated and manipulated using a client-friendly navigation system and a clear and uncluttered graphical interface right from the user’s desktop. The program is also integrated with Final Cut Pro HD, offering an editor the ability to post a rough cut or other media directly from his or her timeline for client approval or download. Through a uncomplicated graphical user interface, PostStream helps the publisher and his or her collaborators to work closely and quickly on a media intensive project in an organized fashion. PostStream replaces E-mail media file interchange procedures, as well as FTP sites, by keeping track of project histories and associated media. Each project is divided into media segments, thereby tabulating revision history. PostStream can therefore be used for rough-cut approval, final cut approval, or as a central pool for project-related media files.
